Mike Green BSc. Dip Psych. MBA MCIPD

A management consultant skilled at Initiating, Implementing and Facilitating Change by developing individuals, teams and organisations through coaching & mentoring, team facilitation and management development.

Michael Green is an MBA and has a background in human resource management and organisational development. Michael has devised and implemented numerous projects that have used internal and external coaching & mentoring as an integral part of the organisation's development. These have ranged from full-blown corporate transformation projects, through top team mentoring, to tackling individual behavioural and performance issues.


Michael has written several papers and articles on individual and top team mentoring, and on team mentoring for organisational change. He also contributed an innovative case study on group mentoring to Kogan Page's recent book entitled 'Mentoring in Action.'

Thirteen years in the Private and Public Sectors as Executive Coach and Mentor, Consultant and Team Developer, working at middle management through to Board level. Clients have been drawn from the business community, NHS and local authorities.

Training, tutoring and lecturing on a range of organisational behaviour, management development and inter-personal topics in a variety of academic and commercial situations. Mike currently coaches on the IDeA Modern Manager Programme and also tutors at Henley Management College using electronic means.

Mhairi Cameron MA, Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management.

A Management and Organisation Development Consultant for the last ten years. much of her time has been spent working in organisations, at middle management to Board level, undergoing radical change in both the private and public sectors. She has worked nationally and internationally in a number of management development consultancy posts in local and central government. The last 2-3 years in particular has seen an increased focus in her work on the organisational challenges posed by the Government's Modernising Government Agenda.

Mhairi works with people on how to develop their approach to changing their own organisations, and as a consequence her consultancy is focused on helping managers build a platform of strong ownership of and involvement in change across a range of stakeholders.

Currently a coach on the IDeA Modern Manager Programme, she is qualified to use Myers Briggs Type Indicator and is undertaking a MSc in the Psychodynamics of Groups and Organisations.

Esther Cameron BSc

Esther Cameron spent her early career working as a software programmer, rising rapidly to Project Manager. She spent 3 years focusing on managing technology change for Logica BV in the Netherlands. She then progressed to working as a full-blown organisation development consultant with a UK based consultancy firm.

Esther has worked successfully for the last 15 years on diagnosing, designing and implementing organisational change interventions with a wide range of organisations including Ford, Allied Domecq Plc, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lucent Technologies, NHS Executive and Hewlett Packard. She is a very effective coach for senior and middle managers and a highly experienced and creative workshop facilitator. She also has rich experience of running action learning sets for senior managers. Esther has specific experience of successfully working with operational managers who need to become strategic leaders.

She has a first class BSs (Hons) in Mathematics and Music and has published a book on facilitation skills (Facilitation Made Easy, Kogan Page) and written several articles on organisational change for leading UK journals.

Esther also lectures on Change Management at the University Bristol - this forms a core module of the MSc in Management Development.

Tim Hughes

Tim Hughes has been a marketing professional for the whole of his 22 year career, encompassing senior management roles in the financial services and fast moving consumer goods industries and consultancy.

Initially in fast moving consumer goods, Tim worked in brand management for Heinz and later for Nestle. He then moved on to financial services where he established the marketing department at Skipton Building Society and later headed up the marketing function for Bristol & West.

As a consultant he has worked on a wide range of projects both in traditional and direct marketing (internet, postal & telephone). He has provided consultancy to many companies in the UK and internationally including:

Action Aid, Arbella [US general insurance], Bristol & West PLC, Clerical Medical Group, Moss Pharmacy, Nationwide Building Society, Nor 24 [Norwegian Internet Bank], RAC, WESTEC, Standard Life, and the Woolwich.

Tim has an MSc in Marketing and is a Chartered Marketer in the Chartered Institute of Marketing. His interest in e-commerce and its application has led him into researching the application of e-commerce to financial services businesses at Bristol Business School.
